IntroductionAfter the success of the 2010 Gala Dinner, the dinner organising committee was determined to make the 2012 event even better. The 2012 Gala Dinner will be held at the Sebel Adelaide Playford Hotel on North Terrance opposite the iconic Casino and Railway Station. The Sebel is a short (free) tram ride from the Convention venue (Hilton Adelaide Hotel). Catch the tram at the tram stop at the front door of the Hilton then alight at the Railway Station tram stop on North Terrace, just a few metres down from the Sebel Playford. Alternatively you can either walk (around 10 minutes) or take the free 99C City Loop bus for a leisurely scenic tour of the city. The Free City Transport Map is here. |

The VenueThe Sebel Playford Ballroom over looks the famous North Terrace and features floor to ceiling windows on two sides with a full length balcony. The gold leafed walls and chandeliers provide a room already dressed to perfection for any social function. |

The EntertainmentAfter the rock and popular influence of Clearway at the 2010 Gala Dinner, the convention organising committee agreed that a more relaxed format was required for the entertainment. This year a jazz quintet will provide the background entertainment as well as some more upbeat numbers to entice the brave out onto the dance floor. |
